“It’s Poetic Justice… But There’s Nothing Paranormal About It”
Opening the discussion, Zuelle made it clear that Justice for Jeanette isn’t built around traditional horror tropes.
“There’s nothing paranormal about the case per se—like spooky-wise. I wouldn’t say,” she told AJ.
“It’s poetic justice for Jeanette because she does want justice.”
While some elements surrounding the character may suggest witchcraft or spiritual energy, Zuelle emphasized that the heart of the story lies in the pursuit of long-denied accountability.

A Scene That Doesn’t Add Up
Zuelle described unsettling case details that deeply impacted her portrayal.
“Her life was taken. Her purse was emptied out by her head. How did she do that herself?” she asked.
“There were rocks found around her head. How did she do that herself?”
Her tone sharpened with disbelief as she pointed out the inconsistencies that make the case difficult to ignore—and impossible to accept at face value.
“See how this doesn’t make any sense?” she added, echoing the frustrations of many who question how such details can be left unexplored or unchallenged in an official investigation.

Calling Out the System: “I Hope This Never Happens to Anyone”
As the conversation turned toward broader implications, Zuelle voiced concern over the justice system’s treatment of unsolved crimes.
“There’s a huge problem with the justice system. These unsolved murders are just pushed aside,” she said.
In her words, the pain goes beyond the case itself—it’s about what it represents for victims and their families who are left without answers or closure.
“I really hope that never happens to anyone. We don’t have to experience this…
because there needs to be more investigation inside the justice system to fix these problems.”

Holly Zuelle is an American actress, model, writer, and digital artist. Her screen credits include appearances in Hulu/Disney+/Duplass Brothers Productions’ Out There: Crimes of the Paranormal (Episode 4, “Jersey Witch Hunt”), Amazon Studios’ The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Law & Order SVU.
She co-starred in Lionsgate’s supernatural thriller The Church alongside Clint Howard and Bill Moseley, and has starred in Daughter Replica, Beyond the Rush, and American Lockdown with Nico Bustamante (Riverdale).
Zuelle also co-hosted the international charity broadcast Help Italy with Whoopi Goldberg and Robert Davi on Sky TV. With over 1.3 million followers on social media, she has been featured in Elle Magazine and in campaigns for renowned designer Kieselstein-Cord.
Before transitioning to acting, Holly worked as a high-fashion model in Paris and New York, starting at age 17. She is trained in firearm handling, swordplay, wirework, and screen combat, and has studied with acclaimed coaches including Ivana Chubbuck, Susan Batson, and Thomas G. Waites.
She holds a degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications & Mass Media from Temple University, where she also minored in Screenplay Writing. As a writer, she has published feature treatments, screenplays across multiple genres, and developed numerous film pitch decks. Her writing has been featured on ABC, Fox, Welum Magazine, Platinum Records, GoFundMe, and Sky TV.
Zuelle is an active volunteer with Janie’s Fund, Animal Aid, Charity Water, and Justice for Jeanette, and is currently involved in several upcoming artistic productions.
